Wendy Xiao Herman, MD PhD
Founder
Education and Training
Dr. Herman double majored in Biological Anthropology and Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology during her undergraduate studies at Emory University. She then received her MD and PhD from Yale University. Her PhD thesis project was on the study of human visual conscious perception using electrodes implanted directly on the brain tissue of patients with epilepsy. She then completed pediatrics internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She completed her training in child and adolescent neurology at Harvard Medical School’s Children’s Hospital of Boston. She then continued on to a fellowship in fetal and neonatal neurology at the same institution.
